Student Connectors receive full training to provide one-to-one peer support to students who are struggling with their wellbeing. This may include listening, sharing your own experiences or supporting students to access university or community support services & social activities.

Group Connectors receive full training to support the facilitation of group wellbeing sessions for other students at the university. Working as a team, Group Connectors will create activities & resources for wellbeing sessions, share practical self-care skills with students and signpost to relevant support services.
Social Media Connectors will work as a small team to develop engaging social media content for all CONNECT social media channels. We are looking for creative students with strong communication skills and a knowledge of mental health & wellbeing.
This role is available to existing student-facing staff within the university. Staff will receive Mental Health First Aid training to further your skills when responding to student wellbeing issues. Staff Connectors will be an additional point of support for students & student Connectors and will aid with the promotion of CONNECT within the university.
